Maternity Photo Shoots Stockport – Bump Photographs

From the beginning of April 2012 Photography By SimonH is offering expectant mothers near Stockport the chance to have themselves and their bump photographed in the 7th or 8th month of pregnancy to capture the joys of pregnancy.

Maternity Photo Shoots cost just £45 and lasts about 1 hour and can either be done in your own home or at a studio in Trafford Park (just 5 minutes from the Trafford Centre). Any one who books a Pregnancy Photoshoot in April, May or June will receive a 50% discount on a newborn baby photoshoot to be redeemed during the baby’s first 14 days.

Outdoor Family Portraits – The Pease Family

The sun shone as The Pease Family joined Cheshire Photographer, SimonH for an Outdoor Family Portrait session on location in some woods near Alderley Edge, Cheshire, just a short distance from Wilmslow and Prestbury. My commission was to capture some natural, relaxed and fun images of the three of them that could be transformed in to framed photographs for the wall of the new flat.

The four of us had a great time avoiding small patches of “squelchy” mud on the paths and even with the occasional “squeel” of bravery when mountaineering up and down the odd steep path everyone earned the ice cream at the end. The small selection of the images below shows a taste of what can be achieved over a taken over a 2 hour Outdoor Family Portrait session

Dan’s Stockport High School Prom Photographs

It’s that time of year again when 16 year old young adults in Stockport, Cheshire and all over the UK prepare to leave High School for College (and prepare for sitting their GSCEs) by borrowing the American tradition and holding an end of High School Prom. Also popular in America and growing in popularity here in Blighty is the trend for young adults having a set of Portraits taken just prior to their Senior Prom, over in the US of A this trend is called Seniors Portraits and the images are not only used as a fabulous memory but are also used as the photographs for high school yearbooks.

Following this growing trend I was delighted to be asked to photograph Dan just before his High School Prom in Stockport, below are just a selection of images from the session.

Clare & Damien’s Engagement Photoshoot

Last weekend Cheshire Wedding Photographer SimonH joined Clare and Damien at Lever Park nr Bolton for a fun challenge of dodging the rain at their Engagement Photoshoot. The point of the Engagement Photoshoot was for Clare and Damien had chance to spend some quiet time together and get used to being in front of the camera before getting married at Bolton School as well as having some fun. We were really fortunate, the Bluebells were out in the woodlands, the sun shined for most of the session and the replica of Liverpool Castle provided a bit of cover when the heavens opened.
