Models Wanted: Online Daters who would like FREE Dating Profile Photographs!

As a Cheshire Wedding Photographer I see more of my clients coming to me having met online at one of the many internet dating websites. When I ask them about their experience one recurring theme is that many online daters have really poor photographs that don’t show them off in the best light. As a photographer who regularly talks about the value in this and got me interested and having researched a few hundred Cheshire dating profile pictures I agree with my clients, there are many users who are failing to get the most out of their internet sating subscriptions by having substandard photographs. I have spent a while researching what makes a good online dating profile picture and one common tip from eHarmony, Plenty of Fish and match.com is to get them professionally taken. So over the next few months I will be launching a new service dedicated to those looking for love online by providing natural, relaxed and fun online dating profile photographs to maximise the opportunity of finding a successful match.

In preparation for this launch I need to capture some real examples that I can use on this website, so if you are an online dater in Manchester, Stockport, Macclesfield or the wider Cheshire area and would like to refresh your dating profile with some FREE professional photographs and are happy to provide me a copy of your current online dating profile photographs that I can use as a before alongside your fantastic new professional online dating profile pictures in my marketing then please get in contact. I need to find 8 online daters (4 men and 4 women) to invite to attend their own personal sessions at a location near Stockport in Late May / Early June, the exact venue and date is being finalised but will likely be a Saturday.

Cheshire Baby Photographer – Celebrating the Jubilee

As well as a Cheshire Baby Photographer in Poynton, I am a Cheshire Wedding Photographer and knowing that this Jubilee weekend I would be photographing 3 weddings “on the bounce” and that with three 15 hour days (and the long hours of editing afterwards) I wasn’t going to get any time to produce something over the weekend itself so last week when I was photographing a 9 day old baby I took the opportunity to get something suitably patriotic and fit for a Queen to celebrate Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee.

God Save the Queen

Cheshire Baby Photographer – The Hackett Baby

As a Cheshire Baby Photographer who is also a Wedding Photographer in Cheshire it’s lovely when previous brides and grooms get in touch to say they are expecting their first child and they would like me to photograph the new arrival.

Well this story is slightly different as back in late 2011 I was very pleased to photograph the Wedding of Clare and Damien at Bolton School where during the speeches Damien announced Clare was expecting. A few weeks later after they had seen their wedding photographs Clare and Damien asked me to photograph the baby once it arrived. So when their little bundle of joy was welcomed to the world in May 2012 they included me on their list of people to tell and just nine days after the birth, Clare and Damien visited me with  at a Stockport studio to capture those magical images of their newborn child.

A few selected images from the Photoshoot are below and if you are expecting yourself and would like your newborn baby photographs with Cheshire Baby Photographer in Wilmslow or the surrounding areas just like Clare and Damien then please Contact Me as soon as possible to register your expected arrival date as the best newborn photographs happen in the first 10 days of birth.

Wilmslow Baby Photographer – Life Changing Image

As a Wilmslow Baby Photographer I know that photographs are wonderful things; they freeze moments in time, help capture memories, and ultimately document history for future generations.  Now whilst this is not technically a photograph nor an image that I took, I’m told that this type of image one of the most is life changing images that 2 people see. So when I saw this image being captured at Stepping Hill Maternity Hospital in Stockport I knew that the feelings of joy, excitement and trepidation I was having must have been had by many fathers-to-be before me and that this image is indeed life changing.

I know that whoever it was who told me that the Ultrasound Image is the most life changing image was right and that my life and that of my partner, Elizabeth, will never be that same again. I am quite sure that come Mid October 2012 the long days of a Wilmslow Baby Photographer and late nights I experience as a Cheshire Wedding Photographer will come in handy practice for the sleepless nights.

Wilmslow Wedding Photographer – In front of the lens

It’s not often that a Wilmslow Wedding Photographer gets the opportunity (or indeed wants) to get in front of the camera but last Sunday I did exactly that.  Helping out student director and model Sascha Laurissa Muir in her final year film studies degree project I joined 8 other photographers at a local Family Portrait studio in Stockport and took part in a film following a Portrait Photographer in Stockport during a photoshoot. Three scenes were planned for the film by Sacsha, firstly a bridal portrait setting which as a Wilmslow Wedding Photographer was bread and butter stuff, the next was a fashion portrait with a stunning flowing burgundy dress, again relatively easy for us and finally the arty side was released with a Marylin Monroe inspired scene with selected video clips getting projected onto the model.

How a Wilmslow Wedding Photographer coped in front of the lens

It was a strange experience; firstly because I needed to sign a model release which as a Professional Photographer is something I have to obtain whenever I work with Models and secondly we were being filmed!!! Whilst the group was taking turns photographing the model Melissa Kay Roberts staring as “Demi Scarlett”  our actions were permanently recorded and as a Wilmslow Wedding Photographer being in front of the lens at the same time I’m working is not something I’m used to. To complicate matters rather than using studio flash which most of us were used to we were using video lights ably set-up by Lancaster portrait photographer – Gary Hill even with all the distractions I am pleased to have taken some great images a small selection of which are shown below.

We had the great pleasure again to work with fabulous Manchester Make Up Artist Emma Mackenzie who did a great job transforming Melissa in to Demi Scarlett. Along with make up for films she also does hair and make up for brides across the North West and as a Wilmslow Wedding Photographer I happily recommend her to all my clients.
