Cheshire Wedding Photographer Services
Q. What areas do you cover?
A. Although I am mainly a Cheshire Wedding Photographer, covering the North West of England, I’m happy to cover weddings across the UK, Europe and wider afield.
Q. Are you insured?
A. Yes, I have both Professional Indemnity Insurance and Public Liability Insurance. Insurance isn’t a legal requirement but any Wedding Photographer you look at should have both of these, if not run away fast!
Q. Do you have a contract and can we see that before we book you?
A. Yes I do have a contract that I use and I’ll bring it to our first meeting. However, if you want to see it in advance I will happily send it to you.
Q. How many images do we get?
A. There is really no answer to that question as it depends on a huge range of factors including the number of guests, how long you hire me for and whether you choose a 2nd photographer. The key is that you will always receive the maximum number of photos to choose from.
Q. We want an album, who chooses the images that go in it?
A. You do, its your wedding day and your wedding album! I don’t believe that any Cheshire Wedding Photographer has the automatic right to produce your wedding album without your involvement. Of course, if you would want I can produce a first draft for you, but the final choice will always be your
Q. What happens if your camera / lens / flash breaks on the day?
A. That is a very good question (and one you should ask every Cheshire wedding photographer)! I always bring backup cameras, lenses and flash equipment to every to a wedding so if any piece of my kit fails on the day I can carry on. Any photographer you choose should have backup equipment for all bits of their kit to ensure that they can continue photographing your special day.

Q. Will you meet with us to discuss our day before we choose to book?
A. Of course I will, in fact I insist on having a free, no obligation meeting before you book! To arrange your personal appointment simply ring me or email me. You are welcome to invite any friends and family that are helping you plan your wedding.
Q. Do you have dates left in 2012?
A. Whilst I am fully booked up for many weekends this year, there are still dates available in 2012 for Wedding Photography in Cheshire or elsewhere. The best way to find out is to Contact Me and ask.
Q. Our wedding isn’t until 2013 / 2014 / 2015, can I book now?
A. Of course you can! I always advise booking as early as possible; firstly you ensure that your wedding is booked at the current prices but more importantly it ensures that you get me as your photographer. Please keep in mind that I already have weddings booked for 2013 and dates go to the first couple that pay the retainer regardless of the what the value of the booking is so contact me to arrange your free appointment now.
Q.We’ve decided we want to book you for our Wedding what do we do?
A. That’s great, if we’ve not yet met, the first step is to contact me and arrange a time when we can talk through your day and for you to be 110% happy that I am the Photographer for you. Once we’ve met and you know that you want to continue all you need to do is pay the £250. Of course if we’ve met then all you have to do is contact me to ensure that the date is still free and pay the retainer fee.
Q. If we book you, do we get you?
A. Yes, if you book a SimonH you will always get SimonH!
Q. You’re already booked for my wedding day, but I really want you to be our Cheshire Wedding Photographer, what can we do?
A. I’m sorry but once a couple have booked me; they’ve booked me, I won’t cancel. If you are willing to change your wedding date to when I am free then I will be delighted to photograph your wedding otherwise the only thing I can do is recommend another photographer.
Q. How do I compare you against other Wedding Photographers?
A. There are lots of things to think about when Choosing a Wedding Photographer, fortunately I have a guide for you to which can be viewed HERE.
After the Wedding?
Q. How long after the wedding will the photographs be ready to view?
A. Typically photographs may take up to 3-4 weeks to process and be ready to view on your own personal gallery, although if you have a need to get the images sooner let me know and I will do my utmost to get them to you when you need them.
Q. When will the guests get to view the images?
A. Unless you ask me to make the Guest Gallery live at the same time as your gallery I will only activate the Guest Gallery once you’ve seen the photos.
Q. We didn’t want an Album but now we’ve seen the photos we want one, is this possible?
A. Yes, of course it is, just let me know.
